Happy Wedding Wednesday, Brides to Be and fellow lovers of all things Wedding! How is your planning and dreaming going? Do you have your dress yet, or do you know what style you’re thinking about?
What about a veil? What about a tiara? Or a tiara and no veil? Or a veil and a sparkly barrette?
What? You don’t know? Don’t fret…you’ve come to the right place. Keep reading to find out How to Choose a Bridal Veil & Headpiece!
The first thing to decide is what style veil you are going to wear, if you’re going to wear one at all. While veils are very traditional, many brides are opting out of the tradition, or are choosing short, retro styles. However, if you’ve always dreamed about a long, cathedral style veil that’s still okay, too. If you’re confused about blushers, cathedrals, tea-lengths, and all of the in-between, check out my post (and free printable) on Bridal Veil Lengths.
Once you have an idea about your veil, move on to the flow-chart below from Simply Bridal to help you decide what headpiece to wear–again, if any!
Guess what…now that you have an idea on your veil and headpiece…TIME TO GO SHOPPING! Don’t forget to check out Simply Bridal’s collection of veils and headpieces for some great ideas! And don’t forget, your bridesmaids may not be able to wear a veil (that would be odd…), but headpieces such as tiaras, headbands, and sparkly barrettes are never out of the question. That’s up to you, the Bride!
Whatever you decide on Bridal Veils & Headpieces, make the day all about you and your future spouse, and take time to enjoy it. In the meantime, happy planning!
